Colorful joy

It seemed like there were colorful murals on almost every corner in Lisbon! I just love the size of this one and all the joyous activity.

Luckily, this mural had a signature. It appears to be part of a larger project; I hope this means these artists are working on murals in other places too. This one really made me smile. More murals can be found here. Photo taken in August 2016.

Black and white beauty

I just love how European cities always have such beautiful, old train stations. Lisbon's Estação de Caminhos de Ferro do Rossio is no exception. More treasures can be found here. Photo taken in August 2016.

Tiny treasure

A quick look inside the Our Lady of the Olives church in Lisbon. It's a tiny space, you could easily pass it by, but I'm glad I didn't as the interior is lovely.

I just love the traditional blue and white tiles. There were several scenes depicted along the walls. More treasures can be found here. Photos taken in August 2016.

Funny faces

I love a little whimsy on something utilitarian, such as this receptacle for recycling glass. I found it during my summer trip to Lisbon. More murals can be found here. Photo taken in August 2016.
