I think we all know Fred II loved the cherubs. I found quite a few in one of his other abodes Rheinsberg. And here they are again in Kopenick! Photo taken in April 2012.
I just had to enlarge this to get a closer look - the detail work is incredible. I don't, however, feel absolutely comfortable with the look on the face below the cherub's foot ... the one in the flower. It's kinda scaring me.
P.S. Did you notice the cherub is holding a heart?
