If you're looking for a place to spend eternity, there are several openings here at Mount Royal Cemetery! These stones are lined up and waiting for new tenants. I do like they way they are so shiny - the green grass is nicely reflected, but I hope someone will plant some flowers once these graves are in use. The weekend is here, for more reflections take a look at Weekend Reflections. Photo taken in July 2013.
I like how they kept some parts rough too. Very nice contrast with the ultra-shiny side.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting picture!

ReplyDeletePeople are just dying to get these!
I normally prefer looking at old weathered graves but these look really nice all lined up multicolored and shiny.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I already have a reservation for a much better place to spend eternity but I can't bring my corpse there so this looks like a good place to bury it. :-)
Yep, I agree with Louis - people are just dying to get there! I also like the different textures! Great post for the day, Halcyon! Hope you have a lovely weekend -- but maybe find another place to spend your extra time!!
ReplyDeleteinterressant merci du partage !
ReplyDeleteNice catch on the relfection of the grass on those perfectly polished marble tumb stones... The picture has something very joyfull despite the sadness of the place. I guess it is because of the very green color of the vegetation all around, like a statement of Nature : life must go on... Something like that.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very unusual shot.
ReplyDeleteunique reflections, for sure!
