Statue of Faith


The Statue of Faith stands on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean in Old Jaffa. The whole sculpture is like a gate and this portion represents the Fall of Jericho. You'll find more skies here. Photo taken in October 2015.

    Interesting how mythology creeps into so many public monuments. There was no "fall of Jericho," but it makes for a good story.
