It seemed like there were colorful murals on almost every corner in Lisbon! I just love the size of this one and all the joyous activity.
Luckily, this mural had a signature. It appears to be part of a larger project; I hope this means these artists are working on murals in other places too. This one really made me smile. More murals can be found here. Photo taken in August 2016.
Beautiful and colourful Halcyon. I took photos of similar murals in Lisbon, I presume they might have been painted by the same group.
ReplyDeleteAnd so different of all other murals in the world. More a real art painting.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a party on the stairs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! What's especially nice is that the style is so classically 1930s and 40s and yet it has fresh, bright, saturated colors.
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely mural!
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like the color blocks represent letters spelling out a special message. Everyone seems to be doing their happy dance. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
