French architectural influences can still be found in today's Saigon. This is the facade of the former post office.
It's now a shopping hall. You'll see our old friend, Mr. Ho Chi Minh, thoughtfully watching over visitors.

...what a beauty!
ReplyDeleteIt was a gorgeous building to visit!
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see the French colonial influences here.
ReplyDeleteThat golf course you asked about is the Westin Kierland Golf Club.
Not sure that's the one we played. But the interior of the clubhouse/resto looked very familiar.
DeleteBeautiful architecture!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful old building with amazing detail.
ReplyDeleteWonderful building and photos!
ReplyDeleteThe building has lots of detail. I like the old clock, very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful building. I like the ceiling inside.
ReplyDeleteIt's a most interesting structure, but it would seem to be more dignified than a shopping mall! :) Ho Chi Minh was a hard man to beat ...
