A little bit of Canada

I couldn't believe there was a section dedicated to Canadian maple syrup inside a Berlin supermarket. And it was even on Angebote! I found it funny anyway. Photo taken in April 2012. If you'd like to see more signs, take a look at Signs, Signs.

  5. That would be rather unexpected. The price isn't too bad, either.

Re the profile pic: Yup! That's me and Lois Anne, and known as Clark and Carole. :-) Hey, ask a silly question...

  6. Judging by all those bottles, I'm curious if Canada has any other tree besides maple?! (kidding)

Anyway, a little bit of your home away from home. ;-)

My sign entry is here: Signs

  8. Over the decades I have often brought back a bottle of maple syrup when I visited Canada. As Luna sid, these days it's more readily available in Asian stores.

  12. @Lesley - I actually don't care for syrup. But I was just taking a closer look and the Germans have translated the flavours as "blueberry" and "butter maple". I think they were going by the pictures on the bottles more than what they actually said as the real flavors should be "maple" and "cranberry"!
