This mythical scene greets people coming up from Rotterdam's Maastunnel. It's an easy way for pedestrians and cyclists to cross the Maas river. For more murals, take a look here. Photo taken in May 2016.
I was there once with a bike and broke then my brake cables by pinching to hard on my handbrakes. It was a very steep escalator then. Now I don't know.
I'd rather take a bridge.
ReplyDeleteA nice image, I have never seen. When I am in Rotterdam I never am in the tunnel.

ReplyDeleteAnything that makes it easy on pedestrians works for me. So pretty too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fine mural, but it is always creepy to be in a tunnel under a river.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly has a happy feel to it, like it is trying to tell people they'll be just fine going through the tunnel.
