The famous passage to Noirmoutier-en-Ile, a small island in the west part of France. This passage is covered by water twice a day during the high tide. It was part of the Tour de France in 2005 and caused some problems for the riders. If you're ever here, make sure to time your arrival/departure accordingly! Photo taken in May 2001.
Looks immense, without a end!
ReplyDeleteAmazing perspective!

Looks awesome and a bit mysterious!
ReplyDeletehave a great day:)
Oh, and I cannot wait until time for the T de F and the wonderful coverage of the French landscapes (and other countries too)... This looks like a lonely road and you wouldn't want to walk it and get caught by the tide - yikes!
ReplyDeleteNice shot!
