I love details like old railings. They also make perfect subjects for black and white. To see more monochrome shots from around the world, visit the Weekend in Black and White. Photo taken in May 2011.
Think I lost my comment while sending it so will try again....if this is a dup, please delete it. I have enjoyed looking at the contrast of the straight lines of the fire tower in my post and the beautiful curved lines of your antique railing. Both lend themselves so well to the monochrome medium. I, too, prefer be lower to the ground. In fact, the closer I can keep my feet to terra firma the happier I am. genie
It does make for a nice view.
ReplyDeletePretty, you really have an eye for intricate beautiful patterns.
ReplyDeleteTrès beau cliché! Moi aussi j'adore les grilles en fer forgé!
