Welcoming reflections

From Athens it was on to Turkey. We were welcomed into the port with a nice sign and reflective windows.  Photo taken in May 2011. To see more reflections from around the world, visit Weekend Reflections.

  3. I like this a lot! Great reflection...makes me want to turn around and see the reality!

You're very funny! Horse museums, indeed! Er, come to think of it, we may well have some of those! I'll have to check. Actually, we have one of the best museums in all of Florida, the Appleton Museum which we started back in the 1920s by a guy from Chicago, Mr. Appleton! :-)

  4. Oooh, I'm looking forward to these photos, I've always wanted to see Turkey too!

Yes, that was my son in the umbrella shot. He was waiting for me and playing around while I was shooting a canal when I turned around and saw that photo op. To answer your question I do both - if I shoot film, I'll use bw, if I'm shooting digital I convert to bw using Photoshop Elements. I adjust the levels, dodge/burn where needed, etc. Some photos convert nicely, others need lots of adjustment, and some just weren't meant to be bw!
