Back view

The back side of the church inside the Arkadi Monastery. If you look to the left, you'll even see a tourist who took the time to stop and smell the roses! Photo taken in May 2011.

  1. I am so very fascinated by your photos of Crete and wonder if you have read "The Island" by Victoria Hislop. Your photos give life to the story she tells with the architecture and scenes of this island. She has another novel based on Greece and its history set to be released in a few months.
