Re your question on Colorado in Color: CR 12 winds around aspen forests (lots of deer, bear, wild turkey, etc.) and up across precipitous ridges, and out into barren wilderness at 10,000 feet or so, and finally down a very scary road some 50 miles later into the town of Salida...
