Fougeres


Here is a last castle for you, although this one is not from the Loire Valley, it's from Brittany! Fougeres is an old medieval stronghold, not as beautiful as the Chateaux de la Loire, but it has it's own charm. Photo taken in November 2002.

  10. This is a striking scene. The Loire chateaux are grand, and I love them, but this one seems more human-scale. A loveable chateau . . .
