Bridge in black and white

One of the many bridges at the Magnolia Grove golf course in Mobile, Alabama. It's part of the Robert Trent Jones golf trail and the LPGA plays a tournament here.Photo taken in October 2010.

  4. My city! There are people who come from far away to play this course and others of the Robert Trent Jones trail... Thank you for showing it so well today! My kids are at the Masters today with much excitement!

  6. It is so appropriate I would open your post at the same time I am sitting here glued to the final round of the Masters. I have heard lots about this particular course, and it is nice to see a little bit of it. With no end of funds, you can build lovely bridges. A beautifully composed shadow shot of what looks like a very special spot on the course.

  7. I, too, am sitting here watching the Masters (loving all the birdsong I'm hearing over the play!) .... this is a lovely looking walkway, with its curves wending a path through the trees.

  8. It's inviting in black and white as I'm sure it would be in color, too. I appreciated your visit and your comments - exactly at a moment when I was wondering whether I wanted to continue the Astoria Daily blog. I have loved doing it, but my 9 blogs seem to have gone on vacation while I chug along in a different gear. I will keep some of them when I am back in blogging mode, but how many? Will I start yet a new one? For anyone else reading, I so appreciate my cyber blog friends, and I do plan to come back! A change of pace is what seems to be going on. Not intentionally, but that is life.

  9. Okay, I'm on my way! Looks like it might be a long course to walk...but sure is enticing!
