This is Saint Paul's Episcopal church in downtown Key West. As a bonus, you get a beautiful royal poincianna tree in full bloom! The only thing I would like better is if there wasn't that darn light pole. Photo taken in May 2010.

Oklahoma City suffered a terrible tragedy in April 1995. The Alfred P. Murrah federal building in downtown OKC was bombed. 168 Oklahomans lost their lives that day, including many children who attended the daycare center for federal employees which was on the ground floor of this building.
A very touching memorial has been erected to honor those who lost their lives that day. There is a chair for each victim and a shallow reflecting pool built from the granite that was left over after the blast. It's a good place for reflections of many kinds.

A view from atop the Cristo do Redentor statue that overlooks the city of Rio. We were lucky to have a perfect day with no clouds or smog. I could definitely go back here!

What do you think of the new look? The three columns was too much, I think. I promise I won't keep changing every week though! I think I'll keep this one.
A double does of bridges from Berlin! These cross over the Teltow Canals. The one I was on is a footbridge and the other is a crossing for the S-Bahn. Photo taken in June 2010.

I took a few yoga classes at this studio while I was in Berlin a few weeks ago. The instructors were top-notch and I was surprised that I was able to follow along quite well in German.
