An old grave from the old cemetery in Key West. Photo taken in June 2010.
What do you think of the new look? The three columns was too much, I think. I promise I won't keep changing every week though! I think I'll keep this one.

Bonjour Chérie!
ReplyDeleteI like a lot this new layout, it's clean, modern and the red is a beautiful detail, perfect contrast! :)
and wow... the crave picture is dramatic! I think I could not be comfortable there, I mean to take pictures.Once I went to walk inside a cemetery here, but it was almost a "park"with lots of green grass, different type of cemetery.
Anyway... BRAVE girl you! :)
And thanks for sharing!

Some cemeteries are fascinating. La Recoleta in Buenos Aires is one of the most amazing I've ever been to.
ReplyDeleteI used to think cemeteries were cold and spooky. Now I love to wander amidst the old gravestones ... wondering about the history of the people who went before.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like many of the headstones and things are toppled there. I wonder if this was the work of vandals or Mother Nature ...
I've been to that cemetery! Years ago. I think the three columns are nice!
ReplyDeleteLeia: We visited this cemetery in the day. The only thing to hide from was the sun! It was so hot!! There are also newer parts, it's not all old. People still use it today. Not scary at all. :)
ReplyDeleteClytie: I think the stones fell from weather or just plain old age. We didn't see any vandalism in this cemetery. And since it's still used, there's always someone about.
I don't know why, but I've always been fascinated with cemeteries. Especially when they have old, ornate graves.
