Yesterday I showed you a male harpy eagle and here's a look at the female. Unfortunately, I couldn't get her to turn around and give me some face, but you can clearly see the size and stature of this beautiful bird. Just look at those talons! She was amazing. Photo taken in December 2011.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd want to get into an argument with this female, or even a heated discussion. Looking at those talons I'm wondering if she isn't a "sharpy" eagle?
