You've probably gathered by now that I enjoyed my visit to Roatan. Both the people and the signs were very welcoming. Photo taken in December 2011. If you like signs, check out Signs, Signs.
Wow! I had to go back through your posts... I hadn't heard of Roatan before but I like the idea that it isn't full of tourists. So, one new year spent in Switzerland and another in Honduras - you know how to spend the holidays!
Island time sounds good right about now! And the water...
In response to your comment about my black and whites, I really adjust the levels quite a bit to get the contrast I like. Depending on the photo, I'll select parts of it, then adjust just that part. Photoshop Elements is great. There is a lot to it and it takes a while to get comfortable with it. I don't know how to do everything on there. My background is the old fashioned darkroom, so getting used to photography on the computer has been a learning curve!
The weather looks cool!I like those stones, this picture is beautiful, congrats!

All the tourist locations know how to roll out the welcome mat.
ReplyDeleteLove the perspective of this photo showing us the welcome sign and the setting of the welcome, enhancing the sign! Beautiful place!
