This is a bridge over the Mississippi River between Mississippi and Arkansas. We took it on the way to Oklahoma City in December 2009.
Since this bridge has generated so much interest, I thought I'd add that this is the Benjamin G. Humphreys Bridge which is located on US Highway 82.

ReplyDeleteNo cars. How did you manage that?
ReplyDeleteThis bridge is so high. Ill bet very long as well. Interesting to see a different perspective along the Mississippi.
ReplyDeleteB Squared: There are two bridges over the Mississippi in this area. This one is the older one on an older road. The newer one gets much more traffic.
ReplyDeleteI've crossed this bridge...and it is just as I remember it...lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing bridges across the Mississippi. This river has mythic status in my mind and I collect crossings. Have crossed it many times from Minneapolis to New Orleans and look forward to many more.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective. Interestingly enough I just put down a book where crossing a bridge over the Mississippi was mentioned. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sweeping curves.
