I used to live in Rennes where they have a spectacular Saturday market. You could purchase most everything under the sun: fruits and vegetables, fresh fish and seafood, meats, cheese, crafts and... flowers!

Hi halcyon,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my photo on SkyWatch Friday. (http://manilat.se/?p=597 )
A friend and I, who share a passion for photography, have started a site called
Everyday Life Around the World. (http://everydaylifeatw.com )
This is about sharing little pieces of your everyday life with people all over the world. There will be a new theme each week. The theme will be presented on Sunday and then you have the whole following week to post your picture.
The theme for this week is “A typical house in my village/town!”
I look forward to see a house from the place where you live.
Best wishes
Guy Jonsson
When I was in Germany I was entranced with the many places where flowers were sold beside the road, in the market, just about everywhere. This picture brings back so many memories!
ReplyDelete«Louis» was not able to visit Rennes when he lived in France. It is one of the cities he would very much like to visit.
ReplyDeleteyou know...French market was the subject of my French classe today!Cool!
ReplyDeleteI love to visit these markets I think it's adorable, even I'm not fan to buy things in markets, but it's about the athmosphere, I love it! :)
Hugs
Léia
Outdoor markets are such a delight. Ours started Sunday, but I wasn't here. I'll have many more Sundays to visit this year and I'm looking forward to them!
ReplyDeleteLovely capture!
