This is the bridge from San Diego proper over to Coronado island. I took this quickly from the rental car as we were speeding past. There really wasn't a good place to stop for a picture. I think the car window makes for an interesting frame though.

great shot! i hope you were not driving.:p
ReplyDeleteGreat view of the bridge from your car!
ReplyDeleteI have to hand it to you, there is no grass growing under your feet. Nice work on 'bringing home' the shot.
ReplyDeleteI've discovered your other blog filled with WONDERFUL travel photos! My broker/dealer is located in La Jolla so we usually have our annual meeting in San Diego. It's great going over to Coronado Island and having treats at the Hotel Del! Great bridge snap!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great enlarged too! Well done especially since you took it from a speeding car.
ReplyDeleteJust to put everyone's mind at rest, my husband was driving. :)
ReplyDeleteExcellen! A bridge from my home state and a cool reflection. :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job here! I take lots of photos from the car, because it's impossible to stop every time I see something I like - we'd never get anywhere. I was in San Diego about 7 months ago, but haven't posted much from there yet except from the zoo.
ReplyDeleteAbout the three photos - go to my site or any site that has those "You might also like:" things. Under the photos, click on the name "LinkWithin." It will take you to a short form. Just fill that out. I think there was one sort of tricky thing about it, but I don't remember what. If so, you'll figure it out. It may have been that it tells you to copy some link, but really you don't have to, because at least on Blogger, it already inserts it in your site for you. It should tell you to then drag the widget up under the blog title. It works great, and it's fun to see what comes up. I'll look forward to seeing it :) It seems to work on words, but also on the shapes of images.
P.S. It may also ask what you want for a title, but as far as I can tell, it always uses the same thing - "You might also like:"
ReplyDeleteThe arch of the window suggests a bridge over the bridge. Nice!
ReplyDeleteOuch.... were you driving? If yes, then you're as bad as I am. You're right though, it's a cool frame and again such a long bridge! Have a great dimanche.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot with the car window as a frame and another pic in the side mirror. MB
ReplyDeleteI do like this shot - and the way you framed it with the car window!
ReplyDeleteI like this in action shot of the bridge. It adds a bit of drama. That is a high bridge!
